An educational program for high income earners

A decision framework for when work becomes optional

The Exodus Method is an educational program that teaches high income earners in the United States how to evaluate financial and tax strategies, set a target number and date for when work becomes optional, and keep proper documentation of the decisions made.

What we do

The Exodus Method is an educational program delivered as eight weekly modules, preceded by an onboarding week. The program walks through a decision framework for evaluating financial and tax strategies, setting a target number and date for when work becomes optional, and keeping proper documentation of the decisions made. Alongside the modules, you receive a set of tools that support the work.

The program modules

Onboarding Week

An orientation week that sets up your materials, introduces the framework, and prepares you for the eight weekly modules that follow.

The Decision Framework

A repeatable way to evaluate financial and tax strategies so you can weigh options on their merits and document the reasoning behind each decision.

Your Target Number and Date

How to set a concrete target number and date for when work becomes optional, and how to track your position against that target over time.

Documentation

A system for keeping proper documentation of the decisions you make, so your records stay organized and ready for review with your own CPA or advisor.

The tools included with the program

Planning Calculator

A calculator that helps you model your target number and date and see how different inputs affect your timeline.

Decision Library

A reference library of decision frameworks you can apply when evaluating financial and tax strategies.

Documentation System

A structured system for recording and organizing the decisions you make throughout the program.

CPA Conversation Kit

A kit that helps you prepare for and guide conversations with your own CPA or advisor about the decisions you are considering.

Annual Law Review

A yearly review process for revisiting your decisions and documentation as laws and your circumstances change.

Optional coaching engagement

A four month coaching engagement is available by application and a phone call for those who want additional guidance alongside the program.
